Construction Estimator – High‑End Commercial & Residential Certified of New York is a fast‑growing, high‑end general contractor seeking a detail‑driven, experienced Construction Estimator to join our estimating department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working on luxury commercial and residential projects, and wants to be part of a team that values precision, collaboration, and professional growth.

What You’ll Do:
  • Review bid specs, architectural drawings, and project documents to prepare accurate, competitive estimates.
  • Build complete bid packages and ensure all required documents are included.
  • Work closely with Project Management to support trade buy‑outs, budgets, and bid follow‑ups.
  • Analyze plans and specifications in full detail to identify scope gaps and value‑engineering opportunities.
  • Maintain organized logs of subcontractor bids and plan revisions.
  • Develop RFIs, RFPs, and assist with scheduling needs.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, architects, and subcontractors throughout the bid process.

What You Bring:
  • 2+ years of construction estimating experience (commercial + residential; high‑end preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or comparable takeoff software.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings with full accuracy.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Adobe.
  • Highly organized, deadline‑driven, and able to manage multiple bids at once.
  • Professional communication skills — clear, proactive, and client‑friendly.
